DescriptionEnchanted Vizions Event Rentals & Decor, is one of Houston’s full-service event production, floral design and rental company that produces and designs intimate to large-scale events such as weddings, corporate events, product launches and any kind of event or party you can imagine!
From private gatherings that demand superb attention to those intimate evenings that you want to experience rather than manage, we have the passion to support your vision. We offer an array of event planning packages from full coordination to day of services.
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and entrepreneurial intern/individual to consult, coordinate, design, and decorate. You need to be creative with a good eye for color. The ability to think outside the box and look at blank canvases is a must, so you can effectively create something out of nothing! Working to deadlines under pressure is helpful as is being organized and having great attention to detail.
ResponsibilitiesManaged all sort of the event operations – facility selection, contracting, pricing, transportation, accommodations, food and beverage selections, and audio/visual service arrangements.
Plan, coordinate, and execute events – Oversee the planning and execution of logistics and operations for private meetings, conferences, road/trade shows and special events.
Supervise production of events – Work with event sponsors and internal/external teams on all aspects of planning the event.
Assist in achieving business objectives through leads generated from seminars, special events and trade shows.
Negotiate and manage contracts with sub-contractors and vendors.
Grow and maintain our social media presence (via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest.) and optimize our user interfaces
Assist in creating and implementing strategic and innovative social media campaigns aimed at increasing awareness of our company, expanding outreach, and improving communication with our target audiences
Develop, collect and manage content including stories, anecdotes, special event information, and announcements to be shared online for blogging
Will work with many different elements including: Backdrops Flowers Fabrics Lighting Entertainment, Signage, and Food
RequirementsExcellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and comprehensive understanding of and skill in navigating social media outlets, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
Enthusiasm, sense of humor and a positive, can-do attitude Ability to self-motivate and stay on task while carrying out routine tasks individually and as part of a team
Availability to work approximately 20-30 hours per week remotely with little to no supervision, if needed.
