Description

FilmGate (http://www.film-gate.org/) is looking for interns! FilmGate is South Florida's nodal point of independent film and immersive media. We empower independent visual storytellers through thoughtful educational programming, networking opportunities and production support. Each February in Miami Beach, we host the annual FilmGate Interactive Creative Conference, which brings close to 5000 creatives from around the world to explore how new technology is defining the future of storytelling.

FilmGate is a small team of 10 creatives. What's great about a small team is that each intern will gain experience in festival and event planning and coordination, networking, outreach & real time problem solving. Each month we host 2-4 different film related events and expect the team to attend the events when able.
Interns need to come into the office twice a week (Mondays & Wednesday afternoons/evenings) and need to be able to work from home throughout the week. While the internships are unpaid, your time will be compensated with cheese plates and wine (if of age.)
