Description**THIS INTERNSHIP IS FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN STAY THROUGH FALL SEMESTER**
Assist with logistical tasks in planning the Take Steps fundraising walk, spin4 crohn's & colitis cures indoor cycling event, and Team Challenge Endurance Fundraising program
Prepare materials and handouts for committee meetings
Book spaces for planning meetings at conference spaces or bar/restaurants
Prepare event weekend materials
Assist with organization of event supplies and inventory
Participate in and help lead call nights to constituents
Prepare mailings to event participants
Assist with grassroots marketing initiatives such as flier distribution and tabling at health fairs/expos
Opportunity to work with staff to create a unique project based around intern's goals
RequirementsCollege or Graduate School level with an interest or major in public relations or marketing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Excellent organizational, oral and written skills.
Solid project management skills.
Able to multitask.
Approximate Hours Per Week: Minimum of 10-12 hours.
Role may include occasional weekend work
Access to a car preferred.
