DescriptionZenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii. We are located on the lovely island of Oahu. We specialize in estate weddings, corporate events, fashion shows, and concerts. we serve mostly destination clients and a few locals. we are a presitgious company who has an eye for design and organization. We have been in business for five years strong. The owner of the company learned a great deal when she was an intern twenty years ago and would like to share the same opportunity with another. It is also a great way to expereince the Hawaiian islands and the Aloha..
ResponsibilitiesI will need some one three times a week to answer emails, respond to phone calls, help with event timelines, and scripts, seek out the best rates from various vendors, book appointments, call leads, upload images to websites, update blog for the admistrative work... For the day of the event: Greet guests (Uniform provided), polished look (if you have tattoos or piercings, please cover), able to lift 40 lbs, assist with decorations and design, able to take direction well under extreme pressure, register guests, assist with timeline, clean up event.
RequirementsMust have room, board, and transportation. Office work will be two days a week which includes some light accounting, filing, calling leads, data entry, designing, and answering phone calls and emails. The candidate will need to have an open schedule for events which is an oncall basis. We have an event almost every weekend or every other weekend. Lloking for a student who is charismatic, friendly, great personality, approachable, patient, kind, hard worker, familiar with MAC, know microsoft office programs, type 45 wpm (minimum), familar with apps, good with numbers, and most of all has a great eye for detail.
