DescriptionClear Vision Productions is a rapidly expanding event planning and marketing company based in Hamden, Connecticut currently looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant. This is a newly created entry-level position is perfect for a graduate student or a recent college graduate who is looking for an exciting first job in the world of marketing and event planning. If you are entrepreneurial, like a fast paced work environment where you are integral part of an experienced, successful team of marketing and event planning mavens producing upward of 20 very successful events throughout the Northeast and the Tri-state area, this is the job for you.
ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:
Attending and participating in project brainstorming and strategic event planning, implementingmarketing and PR plans and attending venue walk through meetings
Creating proposals for potential Sponsors and new events
Maintaining accurate and up to date records and files for all event management projects.
Maintaining current information in corporate databases for business contacts, consumer databases, sponsors and vendor lists.
Attend all events
Provide on-site event assistance to external and internal groups with direction Senior Event Planner
Coordinate sponsors and exhibitors event set up, event hours, and event tear down.
Assist clients with questions and concerns before, during and after events.
Creates proposals, contracts and invoices for clients, sponsors and vendors. Manages proposal and
Develops event specific organizational tools such as production timelines, contact lists, on site deliverables schedules.
Provides research support and completes tasks required for event execution.
Manages collateral production for printed materials, brochures, signage and other marketing pieces.
Compiles post event wrap up reports, evaluations and client summaries.
Maintains the social media campaigns for all events and marketing projects
RequirementsOur ideal candidate would possess the following:
Passion for events, thinking out of the box and wants to work with both national and local businesses as well as celebrities
Knowledge of social media
Proven work history or internships in office or similar fasted paced environment
Demonstrated organizational skills
Excellent communication skills: verbal, administrative writing and creative writing
Ability to work independently, multi task/manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve results on deadlines
Positive attitude, resourceful nature and excellent problem solving capabilities
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite ideal but not required
Some night and weekend work may be required
