Description

The Program Assistant Intern works directly with the Cherry Blossom Festival's Director of Programming. The Cherry Blossom Festival is a nonprofit organization located in Macon, Georgia that serves to sponsor the annual event.

Responsibilities include assisting the director with daily programming schedules as well event specific logistics. This will entail developing and maintaining event specific spreadsheets, as well as communicating with other organizations, businesses, vendors, volunteers, event participants, etc. Administrative duties include but are not limited to prepping materials and packets for entertainers and vendors as well as for various departmental meetings.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment are also essential.

Requirements

Internships are available for class credit only. Students must be a current junior or senior as well as a US citizen. Students of all majors are welcome to apply.
