DescriptionBullpen is an on-demand staffing solution for clients ranging from hospitality to light industrial who value our ease-of-use and quality staff. Powered by Shiftgig’s network of service industry professionals and technology, Bullpen makes it easy to meet all staffing needs.
We are looking for an administrative intern with the interest in hospitality, events, and/or human resources as our intern will be learning the ins and outs of all three of categories. Our intern will be supporting our team with any administrative duties while learning all about staffing and tech start-up environment. Here at Bullpen, we are looking for someone who is willing to learn and work hard to create success!
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities can vary on a day to day basis. Here is a quick overview of some things our intern will be expected to perform.
o Conduct initial phone screenings and reference checks when needed.
o Schedule potential applicants for group interviews and/or orientations.
o Create profiles for all new applicants as well on boarding new hires.
o Assist with recruitment events such as group interviews, open house, and career fairs.
o Monitor and maintain candidate interview process, conduct follow-up calls and emails.
o Work closely with community operations specialist to fill current orders.
o Assist with fulfillment follow up calls and job placements.
o Conduct orientation when needed.
o Assist with group interviews and conduct orientation when needed.
o Post and manage post-shift surveys with all active workers.
o Assist all employees with various tasks at hand.
o Greet all incoming candidates.
o Answer incoming calls and place follow up calls.
o Conduct special research projects when needed.
Requirementso College junior or senior
o Commit to 20-30 hours a week (we are very flexible!)
o Willingness to learn
o Administrative experience
o Hospitality, events, or HR background/interest preferred
o Must be comfortable making phone calls and assisting candidates
o Customer service orientated
o Microsoft office proficiency
