Seeking eager, self-motivated college students for Social Media Marketing & Event Planning Internship at Spiritual Spectra. All interns can list Spiritual Spectra as job experience on their resume after their internship. Interns will have the opportunity to job shadow at events and expos and help organize and execute workshops, speaking engagements and events. Successful interns will receive a letter of recommendation either for their next position or scholarship and can list Spiritual Spectra as a reference on their resumé. This is an unpaid internship providing students with experience in Social Media Marketing and Event Planning under the supervision of a former Web Designer and Social Media Marketer. Duties assigned will include updating of Spiritual Spectra’s social media sites and blog; assistance with marketing efforts including email marketing and distributing marketing materials; event planning and management of workshops, speaking engagements and events; and administrative functions.

Hours: Approximately 10-12 hours a week with a flexible schedule (combination of on-site & off-site)


• 36 college/university credits with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Experience with Social Media preferred but not required
• Some experience organizing events preferred but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills & detail-oriented
• Reliable, responsible and self-motivated
• Positive attitude & a desire to contribute and learn
