DescriptionLocal Non-Profit Organization's Internship Opportunities -- How would you like to work on some fun events and get college credit for it too? The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce, located in Mason, Michigan – Hometown U.S.A., is just minutes from MSU, LCC, and other area schools. We offer unpaid internship opportunities throughout the year for enthusiastic and hardworking college students interested in learning how to coordinate and promote community events and manage non-profit association programs. Projects will develop an intern's communication, public relations, marketing, computer application, and networking skills. Not going to college? We also offer internships to community members working on sharpening certain workplace skills. These internships are ideal for those re-careering or re-entering the workforce.
To apply and for more information, please fax or email a cover letter and resume with your academic/career goals and aspirations to Douglas J. Klein, APR at (517) 676-8504 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The phone number is (517) 676-1046 and the website is www.masonchamber.org. We'll have you complete an application and interview before approval. The working hours for the internships are flexible according to your schedule and will mainly be during the regular Chamber business hours of Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
