Duties will vary according to the needs of the department and the abilities and objectives of the intern. In general, Special Events & Wedding interns are assigned multiple and varying duties related to marketing of the department which may include, but are not limited to, writing and blogging on company social media platforms, overseeing volunteers before and during events, attending meetings on and off-site, set up and break down of events with Manager, assistance with venue booking, and basic administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support to event team members;
• Work with clients hands-on along side a coordinator;
• Provide planning and implementation support for events;
• Create marketing and event materials ;
• Assist with our database in relation to events
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Travel to other sites as needed for events

Requirements

Commitment to 10-13 weeks with a minimum commitment of 10-12 hours per week of service, with days and times to be scheduled as needed. Specific schedules will be negotiated as part of the hiring process.
