Description

Zohar Productions, a nationally known special events company, is looking for motivated, bright and capable students to mentor and teach the ropes. We are looking for interns to work in one or both of the following areas:

SPECIAL EVENTS: You will assist in pre-event activities including contracts, logistics, layout and designs, talent and costumes; assist onsite at special events from set-up to strike including management of talent. You may be given opportunities to travel nationally to major events. You will research new vendor sources such for props, venues, décor, lighting, and talent. You will have an opportunity to initiate, book and manage special events on college campuses.

PR, MARKETING AND MEDIA: You will work on online marketing and branding including our e-newsletter, website, blog, social media, online articles, press releases, and research industry online portals to post our business services. You will research high-end, special target markets and identify potential new clients.

This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience and build your resume in a creative environment. Design, write and publish marketing materials and social media for your portfolio. Assist in the planning and execution of high-end specialty parties and events at our N. Scottsdale office.

This internship is being filled immediately. Days/hours are flexible. Location: Scottsdale, near Tatum and Greenway. College credit available. Work will be completed on-location and virtually.

Requirements

Must be an excellent writer and communicator. A professional and polished presence is required.

Prefer experience with various social media sites. Potential for part-time employment at the conclusion of the internship.

Strongly prefer students in their senior year, but will consider others with strong skills. Please have experience and course work in any of the following: Hospitality, Special Events, Business, Marketing, New Media, Special Events and Journalism.
