3 Part-time positions.
Beginning 2 End Events has an opening for a non-paying internship. As an Event Planner Assistant and Coordinator you will work closely with the lead planner to plan events from start to finish. The internship offers the opportunity to work closely with professional wedding and event planners to help orchestrate events. The internship will include day-to-day tasks involved with running a successful business; behind-the-scenes experience of planning and organizing events; assisting with special events, wedding ceremony rehearsal and on-site coordination of both the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. You must be out-going, self-motivated, enthusiastic, deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
ResponsibilitiesUpdate social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Pinterest with new information, pictures and videos.
Creating content for website updates
Assist in Market Research
On-site coordination for upcoming events.
Day of Coordination- be available to assist between 8-10 hours on the day of a wedding day and up to 4 hours for special events.
Creating Marketing material
Attend networking events

This is an exciting chance for someone, who has a knowledge of marketing (Bachelor and Master). The position is available immediately and we need someone for approximately 3 months or more. We are open to any kind of suggestions and if it works well between us, a full term contract could be agreed on and signed in the future which is a great opportunity to evolve within this industry.
RequirementsA highly motivated hard-working individual who is organized, reliable and passionate about event planning.
Reliable transportation with driving knowledge of metropolitan Detroit.
Applicants should be flexible, hospitable, gracious, assertive, motivated, independent, resourceful, with an ability to solve problems calmly and quickly.
Flexible schedule with weekend availability — Applicants must be willing to work Saturdays, and some Fridays and Sundays.
Strong listening and comprehension skills — Applicants need to be able to listen to instructions and carefully and correctly follow directions.
Computer skills — Applicants must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, Google Docs and Adobe Suite. Additional ability to conduct research on the internet is required.
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast pace environment.
Event Planning, Event Planning and Management, Marketing Event Planning a plus (This includes non-professional experience such as volunteer school events, volunteer church events, college homecoming committee, sorority event chair, assisting with charity galas or other non-profit volunteer event experience).
