About us

Synthia Salas is our resident social media whatever-you-want-to-call-it and is the voice for the Internships.com Twitter and Facebook accounts. She can single-handedly maintain conversations on three different social media platforms. Synthia is also our intern manager and resident style icon. Yes, it’s hard being so good at so many things, but somehow Synthia manages to stay humble. She’s a born and raised LA girl, but has aspirations of moving to another country someday “just because.” While she doesn’t currently own a long-sleeved shirt, she doesn’t see this as an issue, but rather an opportunity. Always the optimist.
Tracey Lincoln is our marketing intern, and a junior at Loyola Marymount University. She’s currently pursuing both a communication studies major and English major (she’s insane!). As a student leader on campus, Tracey has served on many club Executive Board’s during her time in college, and she is currently Vice-President for the Black Student Union for the 2010-2011 school year. In her (nonexistent) free time,Tracey loves writing, sports, and hanging with her friends. Before coming into the office, Tracey makes the trek from Westchester to Burbank everyday! Like we said…she’s insane. She’s obsessed with pancakes and Dawson’s Creek, yes, Dawson’s Creek <— a true 90s baby.
About Internships.com
While the name speaks for itself, Internships.com is the premier internships marketplace, with 40,000 internships from 13,000+ employers in over 1,600 cities across the country. But it’s not all about numbers. You’ll also find great career prep resources, opinionated and quirky bloggers, an active Facebook page, a new Answers community where you can ask and answer questions, and a Twitter feed that will make you smarter*.
We spend a lot of time reading up on the latest tech trends, perusing just-released career stats and figuring out where to order lunch from on Delivery Wednesdays. Not necessarily in that order.
*There is no scientific evidence for this, but it is an opinion strongly held by the Internships.com team.
But enough about us…
What about you?
We’d love to know a bit more about you, why you’re here, what you like (what you don’t), and what’s (hopefully) next for you. Sign our Guestbook below with your name and whatever’s on your mind at the moment!

I am usually too busy to read everything I get on line, but fortunately I took a few minutes to read your latest and I am so excited! Can we put a link to your site/blog on our website for our students? (maybe that is your actual intent?) This is a valuable resource and I hope our students (and alumni) will benefit. Please reply to advise me.
Thank you and thanks for your work!
Thanks! I am 95% sure we got back to you a while ago, but just in case, we’d love for you to link to us.
