Event: NYC Intern Mixer on June 21

Rebekah Lee and Elena Russo are interns at the boutique marketing and consulting firm BDBG Marketing in New York City. Both landed their BDBG internships on and are currently working on a big event – an NYC Intern Mixer!

Rebekah is an upcoming senior at Brandeis University studying Business and Film, Television, and Interactive Media. Elena is  an upcoming junior at Boston University, majoring in Advertising at the College of Communication and minoring in Business in the School of Management.

Tell us about your internship with BDBG Marketing.
Rebekah Lee: BDBG Marketing has been challenging us with tasks and projects that interns could focus on and expand our knowledge and skills about the event marketing field.
Elena Russo: Although I have only been interning at BDBG Marketing for two weeks, I feel my position is serves as a great transition into the often daunting workforce.  I love being exposed to all facets of the communications world with my day-to-day duties including marketing, PR, and event planning, and I highly enjoy my office environment and the people I work with.

How did help you land your internship at BDBG Marketing?
Rebekah Lee: helped me find an internship that most interest me, given that I wanted to stay in NYC. It is my final summer before I finalize my job career paths after graduation and I am glad that gave me a chance to try out a new field of marketing.
Elena Russo: While Boston definitely is a thriving city for the communications industry, I am a born and bred New Yorker, and knew I wanted to finally take advantage of my surrounding neighborhood.  I used to apply to positions close to home within my field of study and have only found success from the service. I am so happy that I was able to get the position as Marketing Intern at BDBG Marketing, and can only attribute this  to

BDBG Marketing is hosting an annual New York City summer internship mixer!

Rebekah and Elena have been hard at work to make this a fun and successful event. The event is at Rosewood (5th Ave and 19th Street) on June 21st, 2013 starting at 10:00 pm.  They want interns to know you can have fun and network with other people just like you while working in the city over the summer!  It is an 18+ event (21+ to drink).
