Elegran Real Estate was initially conceived by two co-founders who met and became friends in grad school. In the middle of one of the worst financial crises in history in 2008, Mike Rossi and Jeff Cappon saw an opportunity to approach the New York City real estate market with a fresh perspective as long-held beliefs and old-guard institutions suddenly found themselves at a crossroads.
From day one, Elegran was committed to doing things differently, taking a client-first approach and investing heavily in emerging online technologies at a time when many firms were struggling to adapt to the new online era. Today, Elegran is one of the dominant players in Manhattan’s ultra-luxurious real estate market.
