Are you interested in a career in the recording industry? Can you make a diamond sign with your hands? Do you have at least $3,250 (excluding New York state taxes) lying around?
If you answered “yes” to all three of those questions, consider applying to the hottest charity internship auction of the moment — a New York gig in the heart of the city with Roc Nation, operated by music mega-mogul Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. Artists like J. Cole, Bridget Kelly and Jay Electronica are signed to the Roc Nation label alongside Jay-Z, and the company also manages major stars including Rihanna, Mark Ronson, Santigold and Wale. In other words, this part of your resume is going to explode off the page.
The auction ends at 3 p.m. Eastern Time on June 1, so expect the price to get a higher before it’s all said and done.
This is the second eye-catching auction we’ve seen on charitybuzz in recent weeks — we also reported on their summer internship auction for the Cleveland Cavaliers. This time, all proceeds will be donated to the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN), a women’s empowerment organization created by Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute.
Oh yeah — if you or someone you know gets this internship, we definitely, definitely want to chat for the blog.
