Well, since only 1/5 of you responded to even having a blog (the previous week’s question), it’s no surprise that the vast majority of you don’t plan to make money that way… at least not directly.
Remember, professional blogging, in a similar way to social media, is more of a vehicle for promotion than an actual way of generating revenue in-and-of-itself. Many media organizations like Fast Company, Psychology Today, and Fox Business, to name a few, use “free” bloggers who are looking to reach out to their audiences to promote themselves as experts or advertise whatever services they have to offer.
