This is a guest post from our partner Blackboard. Internships.com and Blackboard joined forces to expand and diversify on-campus job search and career development options for students within their Blackboard Learn™ course environment.
It’s March, which means your mind is probably on summer. And we mean more than getting in bathing suit shape. Now is the time to line up your summer internship…and now Blackboard can help.
That’s because Internships.com is available within Blackboard.
You already know the basics:
- Make sure your résumé looks as smart as you feel (powerhouse verbs, nary a typo)
- Scrub your online presence till it shines (no scandalous pics of you where employers can find them)
- Consult your campus career services office
But there’s more at your disposal than you may realize.
Now you can do everything from fuel-injecting your résumé to figuring out just what kind of work you want to do while staying within the Blackboard environment. Simply put, this will enhance the opportunities you will have access to—and enhance your competitive edge in seizing those ops.
You’ll know if you can access Internships.com within Blackboard when you see the “Career” tab in your Blackboard interface.
If you don’t see it and you want the ability to use Internships.com within your Blackboard interface, just talk to your career services office or your school’s Blackboard Administrator. You can send them here for more information.
The combined power of your current resources and the Internships.com and Blackboard partnership will make you so much more marketable. As for getting into bathing suit shape, you’re on your own.
