Every Friday, we’ll feature a new student who Just Got Hired by using Internships.com. They’ll share some fun facts about themselves and be featured on the Internships.com student homepage. Congratulations!
Nick Irving, Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut
Nick Irving Is studying Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations, minoring in Marketing, at Central Connecticut State University.
What do you do at your new internship?
I work as their Social Media Intern and I am totally addicted to social media – I truly believe it is one of the best tools companies can use to reach their audience! I love going to my internship everyday and working with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and blogging!
What is your favorite part about your new internship?
I never thought I’d enjoy working for a small, non-profit organization as much as I do; you really get the freedom and attention you might not receive at a larger company.
How did Internships.com help you find your internship with the Connecticut Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America?
Internships.com is incredibly interactive. I could customize my search so that all the results were internships I was really interested in! I also use Internships.com at my current internship, where I can review and respond to potential interns who apply for summer positions.
Thanks Nick for sharing your story! Want to be the next intern to be featured? Start searching, and click the red “Just Got Hired” button within your Internships.com account!
