Every day, our intern Ting gets a sneak peek at all of the new internships being posted daily on Internships.com. Each week he’ll choose a theme and highlight a few of the new internships he thinks are cool/useful/interesting.
Communications. This is a major that is often overlooked because it’s something that everyone does every day. I mean, it’s something that I am literally doing right now with whoever is taking the time to read this. However, just because one may be constantly communicating does not by any means make them an expert in it. Communications, simply put, is the activity of conveying information, but there are so many ways and forms to convey a message that one must have actively studied this topic in order to effectively use it. In a professional work environment, where the way one communicates with their peers, bosses, and clients directly affects the direction an organization is heading, it is essential that everyone involved is on the same page. This is done through successful communication.
