I’ve learned that the profession of engineering is similar to business in that it is an essential part of all industries. Without engineers, who would design and build the structures we stay in everyday? Who would develop the devices and machines that help manufacture all the products we use? Who would design the software and processes that businesses and people depend on? Without engineers, literally nothing would function or operate in our society. That is why this week we will be taking a look at engineering internships.
