Intern Picks: Magazine Internships

April 5, 2012

Every day, our intern Ting gets a sneak peek at all of the new internships being posted daily on Each week he’ll choose a theme and highlight a few of the new internships he thinks are cool/useful/interesting.

Intern TingBy Ting-Tien Wee

When looking through the internships posted this week, I noticed a good amount of magazine companies posting their internships and immediately thought, “Do we even have enough English majors to fill these positions?” A few seconds later, I realized how ignorant this thought was. Just like any other company, online and print publications require the execution of all business functions in order to be successful. This fact alone is enough to negate my preconditioned thought about who works for magazine companies, but on top of that magazines cover virtually every topic imaginable on this planet. This means that the internships posted on our site from these companies have the potential to appeal to people with all different kinds of interests.

Here are a few of our top magazine internships of the week.
