If you really had to (and you probably have), you could wake up five minutes before you’re supposed to be in class. Throwing on the default jeans-and-school-sweatshirt-outfit is totally acceptable for class. Even if you already wore it yesterday. We’d all like to look our best, but with five minutes to get to Econ and the only 3 hours of sleep you got, it just isn’t going to happen.
College is CrAzY! We know. The Workplace? Not so crazy. Adjust your wardrobe accordingly.
Whether you’re an aspiring fashionista or a clueless collegiate who is in the process of their very first professional internship, Work It! is here for all of your workplace wardobe needs. We’ll have experienced fashion industry experts and bloggers covering different topics each week, sharing their tips and advice, and helping to solve your workplace fashion dilemmas.
We’ll be talking about the basics (like what to wear to an interview or career fair), the very specifics (what shoes are not okay for the office), and everything in-between (how to appropriately wear leggings at work). Work It! is for both young men and women making the transition from classroom to the office, and we’ll have a new post for you each week.
Leave any of your workplace wardrobe comments or suggestions for Work It! in the comments below, we’ll make it happen.
