So what do you think? We want to hear about your internship experiences, searches, plans, setbacks, and successes. But it’s not all about us…
This blog is the perfect place to grow your professional online social media presence (you know employers are Googling you). You can do this by commenting on blog posts, joining in the discussion on Facebook and Twitter, and submitting a blog post for the Eye of the Intern.
Some topics you could write about are: what you’re learning in your internship, how you found your internship, a memorable experience you had, what you learned about interviewing, tips on how to cooperate effectively with employees in a company, or any other topic that could be helpful to your fellow interns. Keep your blogs helpful and constructive, and include as many details as you can. We’re looking for fun stories, people.
To have your submission considered, send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Along with your post, send along your full name, graduation year/school, a headshot to run next to your byline and your Twitter handle (if you have one and you’re OK with us linking there). Blog post should be a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 500 words.
Any blog posts published will be promoted via the Internships.com Twitter and Facebook accounts and may be featured in the weekly Internships.com newsletter. To get the newsletter, sign up for an account on Internships.com.
