DescriptionThe Brand Management Associate at ALAKAZIA will be charged with a variety of marketing activities and may gain sales experience as well. Because of our company's small size and start-up nature, the Brand Management Associate will work closely with the company's founders, including the acclaimed designer behind it all, ALAKAZIA himself. In addition to standard marketing responsibilities, our fast-moving team environment requires the Brand Management Associate to be flexible and eager to tackle new tasks quickly. He/She must highly motivated and able to self-manage. The ability to execute tasks effectively and independently is a must as are strong communication skills both within and beyond the company. The Brand Management Associate must be able to communicate professionally with clients and potential clients.
This is an opportunity to work closely with seasoned industry professionals in a tight-knit team. The Brand Management Associate will be exposed to the inner workings of design, marketing, sales, and general business activities of a fashion label. He/She will be given vital responsibilities, and will be expected to have a creative, adaptable, eager, motivated attitude about working for a growing fashion label.
We wish to hire the Brand Management Associate as soon as possible. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. The opportunity for full-time employment will be considered after three months. There will be opportunities to earn monetary compensation during the internship. This internship is eligible for college credit depending on the applicant’s institution. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include event planning, social media management, market research, strategic business/marketing planning, emails to clients/potential clients, drafting of flyers, attendance and assistance at castings/photoshoots/promotional events. It may be possible to tailor the internship experience to your specific areas of interest, but everyone on our team is ready to tackle new and varying tasks with ease!
Requirements-Must be able to commute to Downtown Los Angeles

-Passion for and/or knowledge of fashion is a plus but not a requirement
