Alpaca Flower is an accessories company that focuses on free trade, hand-made products crafted by female artisans in remote areas in the Andes of Peru. Our goal is to promote our products as means of income for the women in Peru. However, fashion is also our passion.

Our line is currently in over 200 retail stores across the United States. We have a total of 14 states with sales rep representation. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about the industry and ready to be part of a growing team. This position will require this team member to learn every aspect of the business from product concept to product placement, while engaging in trade shows and dealing directly with our internal and external customers. We are looking for a creative person that can take charge and be a leader and that is ready to learn.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position includes:
- Assist in aligning company mission with product offering
- Research trends and provide input and ideas for new product design
- Design collection concept
- Assist with selecting new styles, colors, designs and merchandise for each new season
- Assist with continuation of company image and branding
- Communicate with suppliers, sales reps, showrooms, and customers
- Coordinate photo shoot and catalog logistics
- Set up product display at showrooms in Dallas Market and Atlanta Mart
- Enter and tracking customer orders
- Assist with shipment of products to customers and showrooms
- Draw/sketch new products
- Inventory management

Requirements

- Passion for fashion and fair trade
- Some experience with fashion and/or accessories design
- Experience designing/drawing
- Possess skills in researching trends, colors, patterns
- Great people skills and customer service
- Desire to learn every aspect of the business
