BrandBacker (www.BrandBacker.com) is the fastest growing Fashion and Beauty product promotion network online, boasting over 5,000 active bloggers and influencers with a combined reach of over 20 million readers. BrandBacker intelligently connects Fashion and Beauty brands with relevant bloggers and influencers who promote their products by creating original articles, reviews, videos, giveaways & social posts to their loyal followers. Our goal is to help brands & designers get exposure for their products while providing bloggers with unique opportunities.
BrandBacker is an early stage tech startup located in Williamsburg Brooklyn (off the Bedford L) and founded by an experienced team of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. Our small team consists of engineers, data scientists, and marketing professionals who previously worked in SF at LinkedIn, Adobe, & Monster.
About the Position
We’re looking for motivated and energetic sales & marketing interns to get in at the ground floor of this exciting new venture. We’ve quickly grown to 5,000 bloggers and now are ramping up our efforts to get more brands on the platform. You’ll work closely with the founders to develop and execute our sales strategy and be one of the first members of our brand sales team. There is a ton of potential to grow & learn with the company. Aside from learning a ton you'll get a commission on sales.
ResponsibilitiesHelp drive BrandBackers revenue and Brand pipeline through sales & marketing
Put together prospect contact lists
Social media management (posting to facebook, twitter, & instragram)
Keep us up to date on what's cool
Cold emailing & calling
Onboard brands onto the platform
Blogger Outreach & community management
Support Brands through the campaign cycle
Pass on product requests by brands
Identify potential strategic partnerships
Help streamline and organize our sales initiatives across the team
RequirementsMotivated, competitive, persistent, & fearless
Tech savvy and up to date with social media platforms & basics of online advertising
Great interpersonal skills and friendly
Flexible thinking (we’re new and things are constantly changing)
Existing sales, marketing, or PR experience a plus
We would like for you to be able to come into the office at least a few times a week though much of the work can be done remotely. Looking for between a 15-25 hour a week commitment.
