Description

We are a new and exciting designer swimwear line. We recently launched this year and we are looking for new additions to our team.

We are looking for the right candidate to help us oversee production. This person will be in charge of overseeing samples, production, cutting, marking, trims, adhering to spec sheets, communication with designers and the production team on a regular basis, updating reports, etc. This job requires an EXTREMELY detailed oriented person with excellent communication skills. You MUST be available at least two days a week

Responsibilities

·Send pre-production color/material comments from development samples to factory once orders are submitted and coordinate with design to conduct pre-production fittings.
·Check all details match final production spec. Make necessary corrections if needed.
·Sit-in on fitting sessions with design, take pictures, notes and send fit correction comments to production factory and to design team.
·Inspect all production upon receipt. Check samples versus production for conformity. Photograph and advise factories of non-compliance, defects or damaged product. Also, advise of any labeling or packing issues.
·Organize and maintain production folders by category and season
Complete customer product spec sheets on spreadsheets and/or web portals.
·Create line sheets for all collections, distribute price changes, cancelled and dropped styles, and minimum pairs pending to sales team, retail, customer service.
·Set-up and maintain styles in style master prior to orders being entered
·Complete the following month-end reports: Orders in Production, Projections, UPC Count, Department Time off Calendar, Reserve Report
·Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

-EXTREMELY DETAILED ORIENTATED>>A PERFECTIONIST!!!
-Verbal and communication skills must be superb
- Fashion design student (past or present)
-Excellent calendar management skills
- Proficent in Microsoft Excel and Word, and Adobe Illustrator
-Experience in fashion production
-Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a big bonus
-English must be excellent
-Must be "production-minded", can work under strict deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and wear different hats.
-Thee right candidate will have a great eye for fashion
-Self motivated
-Needs little instruction
-Self starter
