Human Resources Retail Intern
Are you interested in learning how we build a great team to run our Kenneth Cole Stores? It all starts with the close partnership between the HR Manager of Retail, the District Managers, and the Store Managers. This team is responsible for recruiting, selecting, training and developing our store associates to best service our customers. An internship with the Human Resources Retail team provides insight into the interconnectedness of the retail and corporate worlds. This will enable an intern to learn how we source great candidates, and select them to be a part of our stores. An intern will also learn how we execute training throughout our North American stores, and will also learn how employee relations issues are handled.

A candidate fit for us:
Your education may be focused in Human Resources, or a people oriented major
You are Microsoft Office Suite proficient
You have strong verbal and written communication skills
You are highly detail oriented and organized
You are eager and willing to learn about the Human Resources field in a fashion house

An internship fit for you:
Learn the essentials of the recruitment process by assisting the HR Manager of Retail with job postings and resume screenings
Assist with the retail team to review, modify, develop, and implement policies and procedures for stores
Review of new hire surveys to learn how our onboarding process may be implemented
Partner with manager and team end-to end to conduct audit procedures.
