We are seeking a fun, social, and organized intern to help with daily operations. The intern will work directly with company's owners and will be primarily responsible for all aspects pertaining to capturing featured closets of stylists, bloggers, and fashion influencers. Tasks in addition to curating and photographing inventory may include acquiring users and supporting other marketing efforts such as social media, email marketing, and attending fashion events. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to gain operational experience at a fast-growing fashion tech startup and secure strong references for future professional growth.
This opportunity is primarily targeted at those studying a fashion-related field, having previous professional experience in fashion, or those with a keen interest in style. Having access to a strong social network surrounding fashion is a plus.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Schedule photo shoots with featured closets (evenings and weekend availability is a plus)
Visit the homes of a fashion influencer to curate pieces worthy of site acceptance
Photograph the wardrobe items that featured closets will be renting out
Write marketable descriptions of fashion pieces and ensure adherence with overall site aesthetic
Based on skill set, other responsibilities may include user acquisition, merchandising, email marketing, and social media marketing
RequirementsHard working, self-driven, go-getter mentality
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Enthusiasm to meet new people
Must be detail oriented, organized, and reliable
Proficiency in social media outlets (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr)
Proficiency in Photoshop, image retouching a plus but not required
Experience within fashion industry (education, work experience, fashion blogging) a plus but not required
