As the #1 fashion and shopping app, we have partnered with top national brands like Rebecca Minkoff, Vince Camuto and Dolce Vita as well as hundreds of the best local boutiques around the globe like Big Drop, Rebecca Taylor and Steven Alan. We have been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, Glamour, InStyle, NYTimes and WSJ and more. We are looking for smart, hard-working, and enthusiastic interns who are eager to learn about fashion, tech, and mobile. This internship is ideal for students interested in the fashion industry who are seeking real world experience, as well as the opportunity to work on marketing / business development with a smart, high-energy team.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities may include:
-Plan and help execute innovative marketing campaigns for top fashion brands and retailers
-Sign up new boutique partners world-wide as well as maintain relationships with current boutique partners
-Oversee and develop strategy for Snapette’s social media footprint including our Facebook page, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
-Attend fashion events including runway shows for Fashion Week to report on latest trends and collections
-Work closely with CEO to conduct research on fashion and mobile landscape
The Marketing/Business Development internship is a competitive position awarded to motivated, dedicated, and high achieving candidates. Below are qualities that stand out to us during our application review:
-Passionate about the fashion and/or tech/mobile industries
-Innovative thinker and strategist to implement new ideas and campaigns
-Driven, entrepreneurial self-starter
-Attention to detail with ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on different projects
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Knowledge of different social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest
-Prior startup and/or fashion internship experience preferred but not required
Details & Compensation:
-Start date and hours: ASAP. Looking for an intern who can commit ~10-15 hours per week for the fall semester or full year.
-Compensation: This is an unpaid internship but can grant class credit.
