DescriptionWe are seeking a currently enrolled student looking for college credit to join our fast growing clothing and accessory company as our Sales and Marketing Intern. The job requires 20-30 hours weekly, plus we ask that you join our weekly staff meetings.
The Sales and Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the sales and marketing team while learning valuable skills related to sales and marketing for our company. Interns will communicate with current buyers to maintain monthly orders, identify and nurture new buyers to secure future orders, work with our custom clientele and continue to develop relationships with online and print publications.
The Team Member will be exposed to sales and marketing:
•Work with our team on strategy development.
•Work with our team on demand generation.
•Assist on campaign design and execution.
•Interns will be given opportunities to be creative, grow professionally and learn outside of the classroom.
•Single Season Internship (Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer only): Currently seeking a position to be filled for January-April
•Dual Season Internship (Fall/Winter through Spring/Summer Seasons): Currently seeking a position to be filled for January- November (Interns selected and available for this internship MUST be able to travel to New York for Fashion Week in September.)
This is a demanding and fast-paced internship. Our interns need to be hardworking, professional individuals, great communicators and quick responders to email and phone. We need interns who can think ahead by visualizing the big picture and taking a project we have assigned to the next level. We are a fun group but we are not easy. This internship is challenging but very rewarding if completed.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Include but are not limited to:
•Assist with designing and executing sales and marketing campaigns specifically surrounding each collection.
•Research the Internet for new leads and develop prospective buyer lists.
•Develop and nurture relationships with stylists and fashion bloggers.
•Maintain active PR lists and continue outreach with online and print publications.
•Maintain and update business contact information via the customer relationship management (“CRM”) system.
•Provide help launching our presence in our new showroom and in highly active areas such as New York, L.A, Miami, Chicago and overseas.
•Develop, write and edit collateral, including sales proposals, website postings, email newsletters, and press releases.
•Assist with Fashion Week planning and creating related materials.
•Assist with developing trade media and PR plans.
•Support the development of new and innovative marketing collateral.
•Attend meetings with team members to learn and understand the business & projects.
•Conduct market research, as needed.
•Take on additional duties and responsibilities, as needed.
•Social Media outreach on networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, youtube, StyleHive, Polyvore, etc.
•Promote private sales & events.
•Build relationships with bloggers & online publishers.
•Assist with various other projects related to merchandising & item processing.
