We offer internships in a variety of functions that will help you learn the fashion business and build skills for the future. At Kenneth Cole Productions, the Internship Program offers educational workshops, community involvement and a unique variety of perks including a lunch with Kenneth Cole, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer/CEO. You will also gain insight into our culture, unique New York style, and social conscience.

Social Media
Does your interest in social media go beyond just being social? An internship with the Social Media Department provides a back-end look at a business’ use of all social media platforms. The social media intern will gain exposure to the ins and outs of promoting brand messages through partnerships with the Public Relations, Public Affairs, Consumer Direct, E-Commerce and Creative Services departments. The Social Media department works with these teams to understand the best practices for each social platform as well as monitor brand channels for comments that require customer-service follow up. By the end of the experience, interns should have a working knowledge of social media platforms, understand the marketing dos and don’ts for each, as well as gain knowledge about client services.

A candidate fit for us:
Your education may include Marketing, Social Media or be focused in Fashion
You are Microsoft Office proficient
You have at least an intermediate understanding of Excel
You are well versed in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare and Pinterest

An internship fit for you:
Assist with social media content by brainstorming engaging post ideas
Assist Manager in monitoring brand channels for any comments that could be deemed inappropriate or that require customer service follow-up
Help to research competitive social channels for ideas to try as well as to keep the team abreast of what’s going on in the field
Work with team to learn backend systems of Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Instagram and assist in pulling analytics to measure which posts and which campaigns are performing best
Assist with Ad Hoc reporting as needed
Review fall media programs and help manager with successful implementation
Support Media team by assisting with positioning reports and reviews of competitive publications
