Buying, Women’s Apparel

Did you ever wonder how an industry leading fashion house determines which products are selling on the retail end, and which items the company should invest in to increase profitability? This takes place in the Consumer Direct function, where the Company’s buying team is responsible for selecting the merchandise distributed and sold at our various full price Kenneth Cole New York retail and outlet stores. A Women’s Apparel Buying intern will partner with Merchandising, Design, Planning, and Visual to help determine the items that will fly off the shelves of our stores. This experience will provide insight to the end-to-end retail buying cycle of a season.
