This is an unpaid internship position located in Costa Mesa. You have the flexibility of telecommuting when work can be accomplished offsite.
Responsibilities-Assist in sourcing new products and seek out resources and creative methods of sourcing.
-Independently build vendor relationships. Establishes a positive relationship in order to effectively influence vendors. This includes heavy interactions with vendors to solve problems and follow-up.
-Analyze and select appropriate product for advertising, ensuring that the items align with the trends and that sufficient quantities of merchandise are on hand.
-Support the Ecommerce team in administrative duties and special projects
Requirements-BS or BA degree preferred
-1 year of fashion work experience is preferred
-Working knowledge or proficiency in MS office Suite, especially Excel
-Excellent interpersonal communication
-Ability to communicate and effectively follow through on assignments
-Ability to multitask and focus in a busy atmosphere
-Have a love for fashion and be a creative self-starter
-Organizational skills include prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
-Ability to remain flexible and willing to change strategies, as business needs dictate
