Description

The Mac Duggal brand is positioned at the high end of the women’s special occasion dress market and includes twelve different collections driven by Designer Mac Duggal’s artistic, modern and luxurious design with couture-inspired fit and sizing.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist the design team with operational support in creating and executing seasonal collections
Flat sketches and illustration designs following provided details and instructions from the design team.
Track and coordinate all sampling via spreadsheets
Organize and maintain all incoming samples from development through to sales samples.
Daily communication and follow up with team members.
Attend fittings and take notes accordingly as needed.
Keep organized records of fabrics, approvals and all relevant items ongoing throughout the season
Receive and send out any necessary packages to overseas vendors
Preferred Skill Set:

Strong sketching ability
Be organized, dependable, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to research and find new inspirations
Have a knowledge of a wide range of fabrics
Be willing to learn and take direction
Understanding of garment construction and the ability to communicate technical information
Proficient in Adobe programs- such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs- specifically Excel

Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Associate's degree in Fashion Design.
