General Overview: We looking for interns excited about creating light/tech embedded fashion wear. We are creating cutting-edge LED Tech-Art fashion wear that utilize unique combinations of special materials and advanced light technology to produce wearable “works-of-art”.

While we work on the creation of extraordinary stage show elements for the musical/EDM artist Hyper Harp,, we are designing various fashion-oriented pieces for men and women. We are creating a line of wearable Tech-Art that will be stunning in the daylight with a tunable “wow-factor” impact made by the embedded illumination. These pieces will be part of our new Design Studio that will continue to expand its line of fashion items.

You will learn insights on using imbedded technology, and ways materials can enhance light treatment, as well as the “engineering” of implementing such into wearable fashion. As an intern, you would assist in all aspects of design and construction of these exciting pieces, including an opportunity to bring your own creative design concepts to life.

You will work out of our studio on Huron and Halsted. Hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends. We strive to accommodate the best schedule for you. This is a year-round open internship, available for you to jump in anytime you are ready.

Compensation: While this internship is listed as unpaid, we do want to compensate those hard-working interns through revenue share, future paid contract work, post-paid comp,or even design royalty. Details will be discussed during your first interview.

Company Background: Established in 1995, ALLY Entertainment is a non-for-profit that assists bands/artists with obtaining performances/gigs, produces music tracks, conducts research and development of related technology, and supports artists with promotion and marketing. While ALLY is assisting its artist Hyper Harp with the development of the new expanded stage show, a dedicated Design Studio is being launched to continue the development of amazing light suits and stage presentations for major music artists and venues, as well as taking its Tech-Art to other channels such as fashion and art galleries. Interns will have the opportunity to be first in line for paid contract work and full-time employment as this Design Studio expands its demand in the marketplace. We seek to hire our interns that demonstrate solid work ethics, skills, and creativity.
