SWG's New York office seeks creative, forward thinking, motivated individuals with strong multi-tasking abilities for internship opportunities within its Communications and Entertainment & Events Departments.
Candidates should have a strong interest in fashion and entertainment—and be in-formed about news and cultural conversations around fashion / music / entertainment / art + design / tech / sports / wellness / food.
Candidates must also be web and computer savvy, creative minds, and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
TO START IN JANUARY 2016
ResponsibilitiesReview magazines for client coverage (editorial and dressing placements)
Create and manage coverage clippings and brand assets
Assist with editor/stylist/influencer mailings and requests
Update and maintain media and influencer databases
Assist in drafting press pitches and client collateral
Support on guest list creation and management
Participate in activation brainstorm and ideation sessions
Support on events and special projects
Assist in creating reports and research projects
Manage domestic and international sample trafficking using Fashion GPS
Assist with showroom pulls and duties
General administrative duties
RequirementsTo apply, you must have verification of current college enrollment or be a recent college graduate.
Applicants must be able to intern a minimum of two business days a week (9:30 AM – 6 PM) during a full semester or a 3 month commitment.
Recent graduates along with applicants who are pursuing a degree in communications and fashion are encouraged to apply.
