This internship is a temporary hourly position paying $10 per hour and is overtime eligible.
Interns will be considered for full-time positions with benefits as they become available.
Candidates will be asked to contribute in a variety of areas and fields in a fast paced learning environment. See requirements and responsibilities below for more information:

Responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Looking for a great team player with the ability to multitask.
-Assist in departmental projects such as manual updates, Illustrator projects, line sheet creation, photo shoot touch ups, website design inspiration etc.
-Assist with maintaining line-sheets with approved silhouettes, new art.
-Assist with strike-off filing and comments (color, quality, layout, technique).
-Make all initial color cards and Design color cards.
-Assist with creation of boards and riggings for trend presentations and meetings.
-General organizational responsibilities include filing and maintenance of storage areas.
-Assist with other duties within the Division.
-Assist shopping the market for trims and samples when necessary
-Valid driver's license required.

Requirements

Requirements
-Must be able to commute to Midtown Manhattan
-Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or a related field required
-Proficient in Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Photoshop.
-Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
-Must have good time management and organizational skills.
-Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
-Womenswear design and garment construction knowledge a plus.
