DescriptionNeed and Foremost are made up of a team of young people. We've all profited from great, aspirational internships and, in turn, want to give back.
We don't believe in dull, coffee-fetching and document-organizing positions. Rather, we believe in immersing people in our day-to-day lives and seeing where they fit best.
We've had writers come aboard and discover passion for curating products for Need. We've had graphic designers come aboard and discover an ability to design amazing clothing for Foremost. And so on.
ResponsibilitiesInterns are expected to work with us at our new offices in Downtown Dallas, where they'll work closely with our small team.
Hours are exceptionally flexible. (We know you have a lot of other stuff going on.) We will ask you to come along to a lot of our events, though.
(Which means you'll get exposure to some of the most influential people, investors, and entrepreneurs in the city.)
The position will start out unpaid, but, if you find your groove with the company, we've been frequently known to bring people on part-time (paid) and full-time (salaried) within several months.
RequirementsIf you're familiar with the vast majority of modern social media platforms, public relations, communications, or otherwise, you'd be a great fit. (Bonus points if you're also a photographer.)
We do a great deal of outwardly facing work and can use all the help we can get to put on the best events, tweet hilariously, and continue orchestrating award-winning photoshoots.
So, in other words, if you're organized, you can write well, and you're not afraid of working with a variety of modern technologies, you'd have a lot of fun at Need and Foremost.
