**This is an un-paid, for college credit internship**
The Winter/Spring internship period will be from January - June 2016.
Quiksilver, Roxy and DC offer internships in various departments and provide college students with supervised practical experience in the workplace. You can intern in departments like Merchandising & Design, Retail Buying, Marketing, Public Relations, Operations and Human Resources to name a few.

ResponsibilitiesWhat would you be doing?
Product Merchandising and Development Interns will learn the process of merchandising step-by-step from initial sku plan and design to completion of samples of apparel and accessories. They will be exposed to all levels of staff in multiple departments on a global level, including merchandising, design, and sales. This is a hands-on internship and interns will have the opportunity to assist merchandisers and developers with filing, sample wrangling, line guides, color, reporting, creative and overall department organization. Interns will become familiar with programs and processes used throughout line development. Samples are a vital part of the daily tasks. It involves tracking, organizing and distributing of sample lines.
RequirementsTo be considered for the QRD Internship Program you MUST:
Be a Junior or Senior currently enrolled at a college or university; or enrolled in an MBA program AND
Receive school credit for your internship AND
Able to provide proof of health insurance
(Please note: Students are eligible to intern during their course dates. Students may not begin before course date or continue past course date unless authorization letter is provided)
What Skills, Major or Experience are we looking for?
Merchandising and Product Development majors preferred; others with related experience will be considered
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
