This position requires the ability to problem solve and assist in any areas necessary to business function. The above responsibilities are an outline for this position and work may be expected beyond these responsibilities. Teamwork and positive attitude towards new challenges is very important for this role. This is an unpaid internship.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:
This internship will offer the experience of working alongside our Production Manager assisting with pre-production preparation and production fulfillment. In this exciting position, you will gain knowledge of the overall apparel development and production industry including but not limited to:

• Preparing and providing Resource Management for client materials
• Production quality control and fulfillment tasks
• Pre-production preparation and post-production close out
• Assisting sample maker with cutting and prep for prototyping
• Working with various industrial sewing machines

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
This position is an internship for junior or senior level college students who are currently enrolled in a Fashion Design related program looking for internship experience. Please provide three professional or academic referrals when applying as well as a portfolio.

Preferred Skills:
• Competent computer skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be fluent in English
• Knowledge of how to thread machines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of pattern making, garment construction and fitting

Required - Excel, English, Pattern Making, Technical Design
Preferred - Industrial Sewing, Spanish, Polish
