DescriptionHUMM. is a peer-to-peer high fashion rental app that gives women the opportunity to do what they love and look amazing while doing it.
Be apart of an exciting new fashion / tech start up based in New York City! We are looking at trialling individuals for a 3 month internship - all successful interns will be granted a permanent role within the company at the end of the placement.
You will be working alongside the CEO and assisting her with Social Media content creation, posting, creating Email Newsletters on Fashion Trends (via MailChimp), emailing Social Media Influencers, creating content (via Adobe Creative Suite) for website, social media and blogs.
Internship period: October - December (flexible)
Do you tweet, share, and post to social media in your sleep? Do you know what it takes to grow an online community? We're looking for a social media manager to manage our social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. We are also looking for someone who is equally creative and possess qualities to take over as our Inbound Marketer!
Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, Facebook discussions, etc.).
Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Some past experience in marketing preferred.
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign).
