DescriptionHifi Farms is a forward thinking cannabis cultivation with one of best known, most beautiful and most respected brands in the Oregon market. Sara Batterby, founder and CEO, believes that people, and women in particular, have been chronically underserved by unimaginative and ugly brand merchandize apparel and accessories.
"We have an incredibly beautiful and diverse plant as the foundation of our brand, and there is an opportunity to craft a fashion forward line of branded apparel using this stunning motif, and offering it to a mainstream, fashion conscious consumer interested in the plant, and the products that are newly available in the legal cannabis market. This apparel will stand alone as fashion, and appeal to people both on the basis of their interest in cannabis, but also simply because they are stunning pieces that people just want to wear."
Hifi has the opportunity to position apparel in well known, non-cannabis retailers through already established partnerships. The person who is awarded this internship will play a critical role in designing and developing a line of apparel that will be sold nationwide through a diverse distribution strategy. The goal is to make this a sophisticated, first-of-it's-kind initiative in which creating beautiful, high quality and uniquely designed wearables is the primary objective.
