DescriptionThe Vera Wang Group is an internationally renowned company and THE industry leader in bridal. Responsibilities-Working directly with design team on various hands-on projects to prepare for upcoming collections
-Assisting patternmakers with making first sample patterns (sewing muslin, tracing patterns, alternating patterns)
-Working with sample room on various projects
Requirements-At least 2 years patternmaking school completed
-Knowledge of fabrics, sewing, and garment construction
-Proficient in mathematics
-Ability to work well under pressure in a high energy office environment
-Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
-Design major or related concentration is a must
