Description

Violet Bells is currently looking for design interns who would like to gain hands on experience working side by side
with the Designer Janessa Ann, designing veils & headpieces and also to help with her first bridal gown
collection, which is in the middle of the design process! Part-time Approx. 10-20 hours/week (flexible). Looking for motivated, responsible, professional and outgoing student interns with strong pattern grading and making skills who are available to start immediately. Internship is unpaid and intended to be educational, inspirational, and purposeful. Interns will gain valuable insight and experience to prepare them for a career in fashion.

This is an un-paid internship. Approximately 10-20 hours/week (flexible).
This internship can be taken for school credit.

Responsibilities

DESIGN INTERN:
•Responsibilities include (but not limited to)-
•Machine & Intricate Hand Sewing
•Free reign to create new products that are consistent with our line
•Drafting & Grading patterns
•Prepping items for photoshoots and events
•Helping with setting up, display and selling at trunk shows and events
•Cutting, sorting, and organizing materials
•Tagging products
•Placing logo/brand name to accessories
•Researching current trends and styles
•Organizing pieces for stylized photoshoots for bridal blogs & magazines
•Ordering and researching supplies, vendors, trade shows and events
• Packaging & Shipping

Requirements

• Strong pattern making and grading skills
• Must be reliable with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate an appreciation and understanding of the importance of high quality as a function
within the business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required - Cut & Sew, Beading, Passion for Quality, Reliable, Pattern Grading, Writing Skills, Oral & Written Communication Skills
Preferred - Pattern Grading, Sewing, Oral & Written Communication Skills
