Global Midwife Education Foundation is a 501c3 working to reduce infant and maternal mortality in the developing world. We are looking for an individual to produce a short film on our work in Bolivia and Peru in exchange for travel and travel expense. The intern will travel and work with our director and Bolivian employees and will have access to interviewing people from extremely remote villages about their struggles with health, childbirth, access to clean water, etc. Applicants will be independent, self directed, reliable and kind. Spanish language skills a plus.
Project timing is flexible for the 2015 calender year and will require approximately 2 - 4 weeks abroad plus production time at home.
The film will be used to create awareness of the challenges the villagers face and to promote our programming to potential donors.


Equipment and experience in film making necessary. References and prior projects will be reviewed.
