DescriptionMultiVisionnaire Pictures is a 7-year old recognizable international film distribution and production company. We are in the east side of LA. We are seeking a resourceful, dynamic self-starter to mentor. Non-paid intern will assist with the acquisitions and marketing of independent films at different stage of the film (development to production to marketing). The right candidate will gain training and invaluable hands-on experience in the international business of films. The internship will receive letter of recommendation, lunch stipend, as well as academic credit from the appropriate departments in school.
Candidate should be a college student or immediate college graduate ONLY; must be available a minimum of 3 days a week and a minimum of 90-day commitment. Flexible schedule to accommodate academic schedules.

§ Research, track and qualify independent films and projects through various means.
§ Review completed films, attend festivals and screenings to assist with evaluating potential for acquisition and distribution
§ Prepare material and screening packages for distributors
§ Assist with worldwide film markets / screenings / festivals publicity and preparation
§ Assist with international market and sales activities
§ Manage company’s social media, trailers, websites and press material
§ Handle creative tasks such as reading scripts, watching reels/directing samples and providing script coverage/critical analysis
§ Compile research for film/TV series development and to help develop new project concepts
§ Review and edit film description and publicity material
§ Help organize, track and inventory screening/marketing material
§ Some filing, mailing, general office administrative tasks and ad hoc projects
§ College major in film, media, marketing, communications, or related field with strong research skills
§ Passion for films and high literacy in film elements and various genres of independent films
§ Articulating and charismatic in interpersonal communication in writing, in person and on the phone
§ Personable, professional demeanor, ethical and able to handle confidential matters
§ Attention to detail (prequalifier: read this listing closely)
§ Business sense and some office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
§ Final Cut Pro editing skill helpful but not required
