Film production apprentice wanted. Under the supervision of the Unit Production Manager (UPM) and Assistant Directors (ADs), the Trainee provides managerial, administrative, communication and facilitation support to the entire cast and crew working on a production. Upon successfully completing the film production apprenticeship you will be able to join the union. Responsibilities

-Work in every aspect of production and post as needed to ensure the success of the project
- Manage and communicate with clients directly.
- Communicate with team members to go over weekly ?production reports, budgets, schedules, and creative briefs
- Coordinate talent and scripts, create production schedules for studio, crew, creative and post-production
- Manage, schedule, and assign work to specified team members
- Be an integral part of big-picture thinking and managing, as well as day-to-day work
- Effectively participate in creative and conceptual brainstorming sessions
- Execute concepts from planning to final production and posting
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Animators, Motion Graphics Artists, 3D Artists, and Graphic Designers to develop creative concepts, storyboards, and mood boards
- Oversee edits and audio mixes
- Write scripts and help to conceptualize graphics
- Direct field crews and conduct interviews
- Post casting calls and audition talent
- Ensure that all deadlines and video quality standards are met or exceeded
- Communicate process improvements to the department and agency to better serve our clients

Requirements

- Have the potential to deliver videos and photos that succinctly and clearly tell the desired story
- Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication
- Experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Captivate and Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of digital videography and photography cameras and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver products on-time and on-budget while?providing a great customer experience
- Extensive knowledge of all positions and responsibilities on set, trends, and personnel capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of all positions and responsibilities in post production.
- Proven ability to direct crews in order to always achieve a network-quality look
- Ability to direct talent
- Proven leadership and people skills
- Proven experience working under tight deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment handling several ongoing tasks
