The Boston Bazaar is a media company based in Boston releasing it's first national publication in print and online - Tosser Magazine. We’re looking for a few interns to work on film projects for the the magazine including but not limited to documenting behind the scenes footages, filming interviews, filming and editing projects for TosserMagTV.
As a film/editing intern you will work with our team on photo shoots, film projects, work on projects of your own, film content for the website and social networking pages, work with the editorial team on the creative direction of projects, filming events, and documenting behind the scenes activity at events, fashion shows, and company projects.
We are only accepting applications for Fall 2013. If you are a student you MUST receive credit for this internship. We will not accept candidates that are not using this internship for credit. Graduates should present proof of graduation.
Start and end dates will be decided at your interview so please have that information ready.
-Coordinating with Project department
-Coordinating and filming photo shoots
-Documenting artists and shops around the Greater Boston area
-Creating and editing video for TosserMagTV
-Editing video footage
Requirements-Junior or senior currently enrolled at a college/university in good academic standing (at least a 3.0 GPA) or a recent graduate with proof of graduation.
-Prior film and editing experience
-Access to your own equipment
-Self motivated and capable of working alone or in groups
-Must have access to a computer and check email daily
-Some knowledge and appreciation for the fashion industry
-can commit between 20-25 hours a week, you must be able to come in for at least 20 hours each week.
